Hours, you ask? LOL! What hours? I try to accommodate schedules and busy times of the year as much as possible. However, I have learned from my past mistakes of burning myself out and having no energy left for my family. So...I'm much wiser (and older) now and I set boundaries (you should too! as it's a great thing!). If you're not booking a pre-determined time and date for your Experience, we will chat, coordinate our schedules, and go from there. It's not rocket science, and we have to deal with the weather and unforeseen situations, so I choose to go with the flow and to be as accommodating as I can be for you.
Where are you located?
EVERYWHERE! Seriously, with technology the way it is and travel much easier...if you want me to travel to you, we'll figure it out and get it done! Generally, my home-base is in central Illinois...Jacksonville to be specific. I do travel though, so let's talk if you need your photographs taken somewhere else. I'd even climb a mountain with you to take your pic scaling the thing!!! Adventures await!
Do you accept reservations?
"Reservations"...ummmm....no, we do schedule bookings though! And I am a stickler for being on time to my appointments and bookings. In real life, I tend to be fashionably late to most things, but when it comes to bookings with you I am super prepared and like to arrive early to scope out the location, check for the best lighting, plan poses, set up whatever I may need to set up, etc. I do my best to make your Experience top notch and as memorable and awesome as can be! Side note...I appreciate you being on time because I may have another client after you. Also, I would hate for me to lose time with you capturing your loveliness because you were tardy. If you are detained, please do call or text my cell. Gracious!!
What payment options do you accept?
The ole payment question...I accept PayPal, I can accept FB Messenger payment, I accept Square payments, checks, and cash. You can let me know what works best for you. Generally, session fees are taken at the time of the booking so it's out of the way when we're focused on the actual photography experience. Orders are generally paid for when the order is placed unless you pre-order a package or your session comes with all you need.
How long is the typical wait?
Typically, I try to get the proofs uploaded onto your online password protected proofing and ordering gallery within 2-3 days of the session. It's one of those things where I may get yours uploaded within a day of your session, but I like to give myself a 2-3 day buffer just in case life gets a little messy.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
I do...I'm flexible in working with clients to reschedule because I know life does tend to get in the way at times. Sessions are non-refundable, but deposits are transferable if a date change is necessary (48 hours notice of postponements or cancellations is appreciated). If you must cancel, don't fret...we will coordinate a new time and date that works better for you. No need to stress!
What about the weather?
If sessions are canceled due to weather, we will coordinate and reschedule at the earliest date possible, with no additional charge to you. We know we can't control Mother Nature, so we just have to roll with it! On a side-ish note, an overcast day is a celebration day!!! If you are sad the sun isn't shining on your session day, don't fret...we love overcast days because we won't have to deal with harsh shadows, majorly squinting eyes, and any other number of issues direct sun can have during a photo-shoot. Sing praises for these days!!
